next level you are here: home / about us / how we do it / prototype
The second phase in our project approach is the development of the prototype.

Prototype
The goal is to show you your new system in 'small' with:
  • your own data
  • your own layout
  • your functionality
For this we agree on a number of your pages or screens that are relevant to automate. Based on this selection which should cover 80/90% of your catalogue or website, we define the prototype.

Based on the result of the prototype it is very clear:
  • we know what we have to deliver
  • you know what you are getting for your invest as a fixed price proposal sollows the prototype stage
Items covered in the prototype
  • General project aspects
    • project conception and detailed definition
    • finalize project scope
  • CMS
    • Users and rights
    • Structure and attribute definition
    • Workflow
    • User load
    • Hardware Scaling
  • Print
    • Layout design
    • Structure of the publication
    • Layout variations
    • Table of contents / Index
  • Internet
    • screen design for relevant pages
    • navigation
    • search & result listing
    • search & compare
    • login/registration
    • functionality which is critical to the website
This phase is concluded with a presentation in which all of the details, possibilities and impossibilities are discussed.
Moreover we will present budget-influencing alternatives.
The time it takes to make the prototype ranges from 4 to 6 weeks, depending on capacity and complexity.
This phase is concluded with a fixed price proposal for the full-project.
