The customer’s requirements are the centre of the xCS philosophy, and these change as the business develops. A customer who automates print production now may require a web publishing solution in the future; this is perfectly possible within his xCS framework. Using the xCS building blocks, the most diverse solutions can be put together. Modules can be combined as desired and can always be added to later.

Data Sources xCS supports the import of data from the most varied data sources that we find at our customers.
Content Management The cornerstone of all xCS modules is the Content Management System (xCS.content). Here all the imported data (e.g. prices) and data created in the system are stored and managed. This centrally shared data pool acts as the source for all the publishing, no matter which channels are chosen.
Publishing Channels The publishing modules fit seamlessly onto the CMS. These publishing modules take the data and form it to the channel and lay-out of your choice. They give additional functionality to the solution.
Publications The choice of the publication channels depends entirely on what the customer wants, and how this fits within the business. There is a broad spectrum of possibilities available, including classic printed and PDF documentation, market places, buying portals etc. |
