Here all your data (e.g. article codes, prices, images, marketing texts, etc.) are stored and maintained. Strong point of the system is that it can import data from various sources such as ERP systems (SAP, Baan, Navision etc.) so that double data entry or maintenance is not necessary. This is the single source principle.

Versions
xCS.content is a fully scalable solution to meet your companies needs. Ranging from a single user version to an enterprise license for several hundreds of users.
xCS.content can be extended with modules for certain specific functions.

Language support
The Languages module enables you to define more than one version of each record in the database. These versions typically represent various languages in which the publication will be published.

Many firms want to publish their catalog in several languages. With xCS.content and the Languages module, you can put all the data in one database and automatically generate the required language versions.

Data handling effort is reduced by making a distinction between language dependent and independent data. Therefore, you need to keep only one language version up to date with respect to the language independent data, because this data can easily be copied to the other languages. Language dependent data (such as descriptions) has to be provided for each language.

The software support data maintenance for all West-European and East-european languages, including Russina and Greek. Moreover Asian languages, such as Japanese, Chinese and Korean are fully supported.

Relations
A record may contain any numberof fields with different kinds of data, ranging from values to images to links to PDF documents. In some sitautions however you might want to link your articles to other articles or article groups. Most common are relations like Accessories or Subparts i.e. smaller parts the main product consists of. Other goals for linking products might be linking records for upselling or cross-selling products.

Media Asset Management
xCS.content comes with a standard Media Asset Management system with which you can manage you graphical data and stored documents. On top of this standard MAM system we also privide connections and integrations with typical MAM systems like Cumulus or Dubidot/DAM.
