Challenge
Rust-Oleum Mathys had a problem typical for many organisations who sell their products across different countries.
In addition to the language problems that arise when your products are sold internationally, many organisations sell different product assortments per country. This means that the same pricelist cannot be used for all countries.
The time and energy required to produce pricelists was immense, so Rust-Oleum Mathys needed a solution, and fast.
The were looking for a system that had to grow as their business requirements evolved. The same system should be able to generate documents such as customer specific pricelists, technical documentation and safety sheets.
Solution
Implementation began with the setup of the database and print engine were in Zelem. Existing data was imported from their ERP system and the missing commercial descriptions were added.
Product managers and the pricing department can update and select the products that should be included in the new pricelist. The generated files are then sent to Roosendaal where lay-out fine tuning occurs and where the documents are prepared for printing.
Benefits
Rust-Oleum Mathys chose a solution whereby they could make alterations to their lay-outs themselves without having to rely on Guideline to help them.
Pricelists are generated automatically without changing the workflow between Zelem and Roosendaal too much.
The system adapts effortlessly at the growing needs of the company.
One system can generate all sorts of documents such as customer specific pricelists, technical documentation and safety sheets.
